Future Future takes in a 3km stretch of the central-west shared path - from Harbutt Reserve in Mt Albert to Alan Wood Reserve in Ōwairaka.
You can access the festival site from a number of points along the path.

The festival will happen rain or shine, but if severe weather is forecast that may impact safety the event will happen on Saturday 17th February. -

If you’re not sure of the route, or would enjoy cycling to the festival as part of a group, join the free AT ‘bike train’!
This is a gentle group ride where experienced guides will lead the group along a safe cycle route from locations north and south of the festival, right to the free bike parking.
To ride the ‘train’ you need to bring your own functioning bike and have basic cycling skills. Suitable for bikes, scooters, e bikes. Families, groups, and individuals all welcome!
The train will go at the speed of the slowest participant; helmets required.

From Mt Roskill/the south (2 trains):
Keith Hay Park Motorway overbridge, corner of Sommerset Road and Frost Road (nr Mt Roskill Gramer school) @ 11am or 1.30pm
Mount Roskill Bike Hub, corner of Sandringham Road and Gifford Avenue @ 11.35am or 1.55pm
Train arrives Future Future free bike parking @ approx. 11.55am or 2.15pm
From Unitec/the north (1 train):
Top of the Rainbow cycle path (on North western path), Unitec Campus @ 12.20pm
Te Piringa Bridge, Oakley Creek Esplanade Reserve, Great North Road @ 12.40pm
Train arrives Future Future free bike parking @ approx. 1.05pm

No need to register – just turn up on the day and look for the sign! Please bring weather appropriate gear - sun screen, hats, water, waterproofs.

Yes! This is a whānau-friendly event with lots of activities for tamariki.

Dress for the weather - bring something warm, and a rain coat if it looks like it may rain. Sunscreen if it’s sunny.
Water - bring an empty reusable water bottle, free water is available onsite.

Positive vibes, community-mindedness, respect for yourself and others, and a child-like sense of excitement. This is going to be a vibe!

Absolutely! You do not need a bike to attend and walking is definitely an option. Depending on how fast you walk it takes approximately 20 - 30 minutes to walk from one side of the festival to the other.

Definitely - scooters are a great way to take in the festival

All stages, markets and food stalls are wheelchair accessible. All paths through the reserves are also wheelchair accessible, however there are some areas of the reserves that may not be accessible by wheelchair.

Yes - Bike Auckland will be on site providing free valet bike and scooter parking.

You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks to the event.
There will also be food trucks with tasty kai options.

Yes, there will be a tent for nappy changing and breast feeding

Vendors may have EFTPOS available, but it may be worth bringing some cash for vendors that don’t have EFTPOS.

We have a bike maintenance area on-site, thanks to Roskill Bike Kitchen.
They will be providing free safety checks and be able to help out with minor issues.

While dogs are allowed in the reserve, this is a whānau-friendly event with crowds, amplified music and lots of bikes and wheels.
Please take this into account when deciding whether to bring your furry friend. If your dog is not well socialised we would recommend leaving them at home. If you do decide to bring them please consider keeping them on a leash. -
